Lead Performance Test Engineer
Croyten seeks a Lead Performance Test Engineer to lead the performance test engineering process. Analyze requirements, use cases and designs for performance test needs, and interface with development and architecture teams as appropriate, to design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios that prove delivered function. Review existing performance test tools and strategy, and provide recommendations to management on process improvements, product recommendations, issue management and risk mitigation. Develop automated regression suites, including technology selection and define methodology.
Requirements: Master's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related academic field plus two (2) years of experience in the Job Offered or as an Applications Support Engineer, System Administrator, or similar IT position. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related academic field plus five (5) years of progressive experience in the Job Offered or as an Applications Support Engineer, System Administrator, or similar IT position.
Experience which may be gained concurrently, to include two years of each of the following:
- Working with systems (such as Unix, Windows, Network, Database, Application Servers, or Web Server), automation, performance monitoring and troubleshooting applications (such as Web or Core Java applications) and performance issues
- Setup test environments, tools and procedures for performance testing
- BI and data architecture needs assessments
- Analysis and documentation of problems and defects, reporting defects and tracking defect status
- LoadRunner or Emprix e-Load, and one or more programming and scripting language
- TOAD or SQL Enterprise Manager and SQL Queries.
